About

The Rainbow Splinter

Handmade for the Wildly Alive

The Rainbow Splinter is where I build things with my hands and make a beautiful mess on purpose.

Woodwork, art, color, creatures, custom pieces — if I can dream it up, I'll find a way to make it real. Every piece that leaves my workbench is made by me, Tara, here in Clarksville, Texas — a few miles outside of town, where the quiet is good and the sawdust is plentiful.

From the Small Talk that anchors a room to the Dangly Bits that brighten a nursery, all of my pieces are designed to last a lifetime and tell a story of their own. I work in wood, fiber, color, and whatever else calls to me — including a whole world of hand-crocheted Sea Goblins that have taken on a life of their own as part of my children's book series.

Everything in this shop is made by and ships from my own two hands. No factories, no middlemen — just me, my tools, and a lot of heart.

Take a look around and see what's new in the shop or what's rolling off the workbench next.

I'm glad you are here.
